Can you guess what they did when they met me? They reached out for me. It was amazing.” - Henrik Barck of Sweden on coming home to his twin infant sons after Swedish courts reversed a wrongful guilty verdict of child abuse

From abandoned mines in South Africa to permaculture farms across the Caribbean and oil fields in California, I've been busy the past few years.
I work around the country and the world as an investigative journalist, searching for the stories that matter. I seek out what affects our lives and write about and photograph what's happening around us.
This is something I do largely away from the comfort of a candy bowl-topped desk in a newsroom. Instead, I've seen my newsroom become a garbage dump, a pit of acid mine drainage, a courtroom and a sandy beach full of nesting sea turtles.
If a story's telling might do some good, drop me a line. No story is off limits.
